Yogi Paradise In Greece, Amorgos Greek Islands

First I do the yoga, then I do the things. I feel like my entire trip has been a yoga class. Moments of, I’m so ready for this, bliss, frustration, anxiousness, connection, anger, joy, laughter and then in shavasana, realizing I am right where I need to be.
Staying at the Aegialis Hotel & Spa on the island of Amorgos was such a dream. This is the only five star hotel on the island and it is everything and more. The view from the restaurant and my room were stunning. I think I sat there for 2 hours just taking it all in. It was so peaceful. They have daily yoga classes as well.

My favorite was sunset yoga on the roof with sweeping views of the sea and mountains. They have two other indoor yoga studios with incredible views. The meals at this hotel were the best I’ve had in Greece. Everything from the olive oil to the tzatziki is grown on the island and freshly made in house. I’m still dreaming about the olive oil and risotto. Every night they serve their freshest farm to table dishes. Not only is the food delicious, it is a full 3 to 4 course meal. Their breakfast buffet is also out of this world with homemade, pastries, pancakes, pies, fresh fruit, eggs, sausage…pretty much anything you may want. Nobody is leaving hungry at this place. The amenities are also fabulous. They have a huge sea salt pool overlooking the sea with a cafe bar. Their spa has everything you could ever want. Any kind of massage, nail salon, hair salon, juice bar, steam room, sauna and another sea salt indoor pool. What more can I say? Can I just live here? lol
