I’ve decided I’m not old. I’m 25 plus shipping and handling..lol. I had the most fabulous birthday stay at the luxurious Tugu Hotel in Canggu for two nights. Upon arrival, the staff welcomed me with a fresh beverage and massage. I received a tour around the property and it’s breathtaking. The architecture is classic Balinese style and the rooms are filled with classic Balinese art and furniture.
Tugu is actually a historical landmark so you get luxury and culture. Beautiful big pool, lovely gardens and a dreamy big pond with fish. My room was next level with views of the gardens and sea. Attached to my bedroom was an indoor/outdoor space with a gorgeous big tub. I spent most of my time in the tub…lol…which they filled with rose petals. Also, I think the bed is one of the most comfortable I’ve slept in. The breakfast is yummy and they offer a large selection. I also loved the tea time treats and enjoyed those at the upstairs restaurant with a view of the sea at sunset.
The staff made my birthday so special with flowers, a card and a birthday cake with my name on it. I was far from my family but I definitely felt I had one here. Thank you Tugu!
