“Enjoy life now. This is not a rehearsal.” Today, I’m going to take you through some of my favorite things to do in Tahoe.
My Favorite Places:
This place truly is a Lake Tahoe treasure. My parents and I enjoyed an epic dinner at Soule Domain. The restaurant is located in a cabin that was built in 1927 and the owner turned it into a restaurant 30 years ago. It’s so cozy and romantic inside with a stone wall fireplace. This has to be the most charming restaurant in Tahoe. The food is just as fabulous as the atmosphere. We had an amazing shrimp appetizer with their homemade bread. I had the filet Mignon and the meat was cooked to perfection with a side of crispy potatoes and healthy veggies. My dad had the fresh catch of the day and my mom had the rack of lamb. They are both still raving about it. The service is very friendly and knowledgeable. I highly recommend ordering their homemade bread pudding dessert. Charlie the owner, is so hospitable and charming. We can’t wait to go back. Website
Borges Sleigh Ride is a Tahoe Treasure. This is a family owned company that has been in business for 50 years. My parents and I had the most charming horse drawn sleigh ride around the insanely beautiful Sand Harbor with it’s snowy mountains and crystal clear water. The owner Dianna was so knowledgeable about the history of Tahoe and was incredibly friendly and fun. This is a must do when in Tahoe! Website
