The Dos And Don’ts To Dating

It can be a difficult thing to navigate the dating jungle in the city! That is why one must be prepared like a solider going to war…hahaha! I’m joking….kinda joking.

Through all my dating experiences I have come up with a list of Dos and Don’ts. Hopefully this helps you on your dating journey! 🙂

Please leave your comments and share your stories! I want to know what you think 🙂

Thank you for uploading this video. The reminder of possessiveness at 5:50
is helpful for me. I went to catch up with a girl who I used to date (no
heart-to-heart/ not strong enough connection) after nog seeing her for a
couple of months, wanting to see her more after I had the interaction.
Before I went there I actually reminded myself ”Behold the flower, don’t
pick it, because by picking it you destroy it completely”. Now I have to
tell myself the same AFTER having been there, and your video reminded me of
    doing just that.

Edit: As to the possessiveness, I like the quote ”You can’t love what you
    need” as well.

As date preparation, rather than drinking, you can do exercise and/or call
a friend. This helps you to get into the present moment. Luckily for me, I
swore to not drink beer anymore two years ago and have hold up my
commitment ever since. Actually, my date at the time, when mentioning the
possibility of me drinking again, she advocated me to not do it! She
enforced/strengthened my values towards (not) drinking. It was such a great
    experience.

A bit offtopic, but if you find yourself to be really emotional it can be
because of birth control. A girl I know is doing a thesis on it, and there
are also videos on YouTube which discuss the subject, like this one: Why
women are “crazy” by ”Anna Akena”

good points, very helpful, will watch this again for sure. You know, those
stories aren’t even worth writing down as real “Stories” are they? they
are just trashy artifacts of the mind. I like the swimming analogy. Do you
    swim?

You give a good woman’s perspective. Us men are clueless to how you ladies
look at things. No, no,,, we never try to liquor up women,,, us men have
pure hearts…really! NOT! Yes, there are Ted Bundy’s out there, beware.
Don’t be easy, make it hard, don’t be desperate. Qualify your date. Us men
may have to ask 10 women out to get one good date.
Sometimes it is good to be single, don’t worry about it. Just date when you
want, meet a big mall. A mall is secure for women and men. Men are
concerned about crazy women who look normal, but sometimes just explode for
no reason. Then we are looking for the exit door…Yeah, sometimes it is
just friends, which is weird for a man to wrap his brain around.
Dating is a two-way street, still its more dangerous for women.
Usually things work out, I had dates that lasted years, others 5 minutes.
Why prolong the pain, if it is a bad date, leave! Good date, stay a while!

    Lol 0:50. I can relate!

“If you love a flower, don’t pick it up. Because if you pick it up it dies
and it ceases to be what you love. So if you love a flower, let it be..”

Is no different than saying, “This candle will last forever, *if it’s never
    lit.*” Lol.

The flower analogy is wrong on so many levels. Let me explain.

First, all living things die. Of course the flower dies. But how does it
*live* ? A single flower amongst dozens, hundreds, thousands.. how many
people would notice it before? But now, if a girl puts that single flower
in her hair, or a couple places it in a vase and gives it water, it becomes
that field of flowers.. It becomes something greater than it was before.
And it makes other things beautiful.

Second, love is about obsession, someone you can’t live without. That is
human, mortal love. Now, unconditional love, that is spiritual.

You mentioned the “twin flame” concept before in another video, and I could
never imagine such a couple embracing this belief of love without
    attachment; possession.

I’m reminded of something Eckhart Tolle talked about regarding the identity
and ego. At some point in our human evolution, it was created in order to
facilitate other developments (consciousness, language, civilization). But
now we’re perceiving a higher form of being and evolving into the next
spiritual manifestation, where the ego is no longer needed.

So there may be a time where we will consider love to be solely
unconditional. But for now, we feel more *alive* when we embrace our
current nature, which is to possess that which we love. Just as it is the
nature of teenagers to be wild, reckless, vain, and all other immature
things that makes their lives so exciting and fulfilling.

    Ecclesiastes 3:1
*”To every thing there is a season, and a time to every purpose under the
    heaven.”*

  9. Ralph Latham says:

Some people- particularly serial killers – are very good at picking up on
what kind of person you wish and hope they are – and presenting a
    flawlessly congruent, according performance.

  10. Light Love Magic says:

This is so true. The guy I’ve been dating for the last couple of weeks was
just praising me last night for the very things you were talking about. He
said “I love how you’re so good at communicating and not always leaving me
guessing, but you keep your mystery because you still like to go off and do
your own thing. You have your girly time and you read and you have
friends.” He made it clear that his usual experience had been that
ever-so-common spend every minute together for a couple of weeks and burn
    out fast. Amen Sister!
