Sensory Deprivation Tank Experience

A sensory deprivation tank is a salt water filled chamber used to help people achieve heightened awareness and relaxation by floating. When floating in the tank, a person loses all sensory awareness. Temperature, light, touch, sound, and gravity are all eliminated and a person is then able to go inward to experience deeper levels of tranquility. This triggers the para-sympathetic response in the body, which aids in the release of muscle tension, lowering of blood pressure, slowing of the heart rate and the release of endorphins (the chemical in the body that makes you feel happy).

This video is about my personal experience is the sensory deprivation tank. Everyone’s experience is different and unique to them.

Interesting video..diet plays a major role in higher consciousness. How do
you know if you are already at a higher consciousness.?

I love this. Thanks for sharing. Going through some dark times these past
two weeks and last night I concluded that you are my goal. I want to be as
open as you are. I want to change and I’m struggling because I’ve realized
I have been conditioned this whole time and I’m not allowing myself to
project my true self and discover who really I am. I am too hard on my
self. We have a lot in common in terms of our personalities and your point
of views. Keep making these videos. They are helping. They are helping me.
So you’ve got my full attention. You’ve gained a new fan who wants to
become a better human being. I send you loving vibes from New York โœŒ๏ธ

Wow, that is amazing. I’ve always wanted to do something like that, like
going to an indian tent and they have a fire going in it and you’re
supposed to endure it for hours or something and get your tribe name. Im
excited for you having that experience! Lol@the conga dancing, err line it
is. Reminds me of that song anyways

Oh my actual god not sure I’d fancy doing that ๐Ÿ™‚ and probably might not be
a good idea for me as I can be somewhat claustrophobic – but well done x

    Hey there guess who? I just watched your sensory deprivation experience;
good job. Did it make you more or less enlightened? What did you gain from
it. I try to meditate in the darkest room with a small candle and I think
being in a dark and very quiet room does make the experience of meditation
    deeper but that’s me…Nice video anyhow ๐Ÿ™‚

  7. The Rain Shimmers says:

Thanks I’ve been thinking about trying a sensory deprivation session. Now I
    definitely will.

  8. TheBitterIntrovert says:

This is something I’ve thought about doing for sometime now, the only
problem is that the closest tank is over 2 hours away… in the USA. Oh
    well… someday.

Any other experiences that you would recommend?

It would be hard to say without knowing what your recurring problems are,
but I think that everyone is to some degree, “broken” and can never be put
back together again. You can improve a lot of things about yourself, but
some things are simply broken and can’t be fixed. That for better or worse,
this is what you have become. This is who you are now. And I think once you
accept yourself, people will more readily accept all of you.

That’s what it’s all about really, acceptance. It requires neither like nor
dislike. It just allows it to be.

I’m reminded of that SNL skit with Stuart Smalley who would often say,
“..and that’s, OKAY.” ๐Ÿ˜› Or his daily affirmations, looking into the
mirror, “..because I’m good enough, I’m smart enough, and doggone it,
    people like me.” LOL.

    Also, 5:39 ..LOL!!

  10. Orion Xavier says:

Where did you go for your sensory deprivation experience? Float Lab? I just
saw a video of that place with Joe Rogan, interviewing the proprietor,
“Crash”. That guy (Crash) was funny and cool. Reminds me a lot of my uncle
    lol.

  11. Orion Xavier says:

A lot of people describe it as being one with the universe, but I have to
wonder if it’s actually more like “you” become the “universe” so to say. In
other words all of existence is your consciousness. Exactly like, a camera
pointing into a mirror, that sees a camera in a mirror, ad infinitum..!
